With over 20 years of experience in the service and repair of sterilisation equipment, John has developed extensive expertise across a variety of medical/life science technologies.
For the past five and a half years, John has worked at Sychem, where his responsibilities included servicing and repairing Steelco washers, autoclaves, and ultrasonics. He also conducted quarterly, annual, and commissioning services on Steelco products, liaised with AEDs to devise cycle parameters for specific loads, and provided service, repair, and testing for various other manufacturers' equipment as required.
Prior to Sychem, John spent nearly 12 years with Belimed UK, where he serviced, repaired, tested, and commissioned Belimed products. Before that, he worked at Ascot Autoclaves for approximately four years, focusing on service, repair, and testing of Ascot autoclaves and other manufacturers' models.
Earlier in his career, John worked at Astell, servicing, repairing, testing, and commissioning Astell products. His foundational skills were honed during time spent working with AEDs Andrew Oattes and Keith Shuttleworth, where he gained extensive experience working on a wide range of autoclaves, including older models.
Before entering the sterilization equipment field, John served as the sole electrician for two trusts, further strengthening his technical expertise in the medical/ life science equipment service industry.
